Na Pali Challenge OC6 Prep Clinic
Sunday, August 2 – Wednesday, August 5, 2020
*Paddlers must supply their own leash, paddles and PFDs
If you’ve ever wanted to not only see the Na Pali Coast, but paddle it in OC6, then this is the clinic as it is normally the only time of year you can safely paddle it. This will be an OC6 and OC1 combo clinic suitable for all levels of paddler. The clinic is scheduled so that you can optionally race the Na Pali Challenge (not included in the clinic cost) which is a change race consisting of a team of 6 men and 6 women alternating shifts.
You will get the proven Tahitian style stroke technique along with OC6 practicing in warm blue Kauai waters to include roles in different seats, OC6 wave catching, water changes, steering tips, training tips, and more. For those racing the Napali Challenge, we will cover race preparation, selecting the optimal line, locations to stay clear of, and more so that there are no surprises come race day. We may throw in some solo practice as well.
Due to popular demand, we’ll mix in some solo runs in this camp as well. It doesn’t get any better than being out in paradise on the solo where you’ll not only see amazing scenery but experience it.
Ask about a group rate if you have 6 or more paddlers!
*NOTE: We reserve the right to modify clinics into private or semi-private lessons at lesson rates if we don’t have a minimum of 6 paddlers attending a clinic. In the very unlikely event we have to cancel, we will refund your full cost of the clinic. If you need to cancel up to 2 months prior to the scheduled start date of a clinic, we will refund the full amount minus any admin fees charged to us, unless it affects the minimum participation requirement in which case the refund will be 50% minus admin fees. If you cancel within two months of a clinic start date then the refund will be 50% minus admin fee since most of the fixed costs for the clinic will have been paid for and cannot be reimbursed. During the clinic, paddlers are responsible for any damages to the boats they are using. If there are damages, then the instructor or management will determine if the boat needs to be completely replaced or can be repaired.
