Steve (Laci) Bujdos

Laci has been going to Kauai since the early 90s and discovered Outrigger their in 1999 by accident when intending to rent an ocean kayak. He noticed a group getting in to 6-mans and managed to convince the Kaiola club coach to put him in for the practice – the rest is history. Laci plans to retire in Kauai.

• Member of the Jericho Outrigger Canoe Club
• Multiple Canadian 6-man and solo champion.
• Two time US Masters solo relay champion.
• Catalina Masters 6-man champion
• 2012 World Sprints 6-man Senior Masters 500m and 1000m champion.
• 12th place finish in Molokai Hoe 6-man.

Tim Gale

Tim was introduced to Kauai and one way runs with the local paddlers in 2008 by Laci. He immediately fell in love with the local paddlers and their beautiful paradise. Tim also met many of the local teenagers who he understands very well as he is a high school teacher and the founder of the very reputable Take a Hike Foundation for youth at risk and Take a Hike Program.
